By accessing or using Bear Pit Intelligence ("the Platform"), operated by Bear Pit Intelligence ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Bear Pit Intelligence is a government relations intelligence platform that monitors, aggregates, and summarizes public information from British Columbia government sources. The Platform provides AI-generated summaries, alerts, tracking tools, and briefings to assist government relations professionals in their work.

The Platform monitors publicly available government information including but not limited to: BC government news releases, Orders in Council, legislation, Hansard transcripts, regulatory filings, consultation notices, and lobbyist registry records.

The Platform, including its design, features, code, and AI-generated content, is the intellectual property of Bear Pit Intelligence. You retain ownership of any notes, annotations, or tracking files you create on the Platform.

AI-generated summaries and briefings are provided for your professional use. You may incorporate Platform content into your own client deliverables and reports. The underlying government source materials remain public domain.

8. Data Accuracy and Disclaimer

The Platform provides AI-generated summaries and analysis of publicly available government information. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free.

The Platform is an intelligence tool, not a legal or regulatory compliance service. Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bear Pit Intelligence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to:

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total fees you paid for your subscription in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We strive to maintain continuous availability of the Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance in advance.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such notification constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. We may retain your data for a reasonable period in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
